Yoga provides the ultimate mirror to hold up to yourself and reflect your life journey. Yet it is so ancient, so simple. Anyone can do it.” Michelle practised yoga during her pregnancies and labours. She credits yoga with not getting malaria the year she worked in Africa. “I can’t imagine my life without it and I hope that’s reflected in my teaching”.
I am so proud to lead the Bliss Yoga Teacher Training Academy – yoga training as it should be. Michelle regularly writes articles for OM magazine. She has delivered over 12,000 yoga teaching hours . . .

Ambra teaches in our Teacher Training Academy. Ambra is a former Principal ballerina with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. Throughout her career she enjoyed the chance to perform on stages all around the world.
Retiring from dance allowed her the time to focus on her passion and to undertake further training in Ashtanga Vinyasa (500hrs), Rocket Yoga (300hrs), Forrest Yoga (200hrs), Tripsichore (200hrs), and Dharma Yoga (800hrs). Ambra’s teaching is fun and spontaneous following the lineage of Larry Shultz, Ana Forrest, and Sri Dharma Mittra. Since she retired from professional ballet she has been teaching regularly in teacher training courses, has worked with performers and athletes helping to rethink their traditional training regimes and introduce yoga to drive better performance and increase their enjoyment of sport and performance. Her aim is to guide others so as they may also experience the many amazing benefits of yoga to the body, mind and soul.

Tecaher Training takes it to a whole new level in terms of physical practice and the understanding you have for your own body. It has also given me a much deeper understanding of the magic and mechanics of yoga".
I’ve been practicing Yoga for about 17 years & 14 years ago qualified as a teacher. I teach Hatha yoga the traditional form, which is a combination of breathing, Asanas, & relaxation. Here at Bliss I teach beginners yoga & a Hatha yoga class. I’m also a qualified stress consultant. I believe everyone can benefit from Yoga whatever your age, fitness levels or any health issues you may have. Yoga is a complete mind body experience & practiced regularly you will benefit from increased flexibility, posture & breathing & you will become stronger both physically & emotionally. I love my teaching role & love to see people develop their practice. All my classes are non competitive & as long as people leave my classes feeling better, happier & relaxed. I’m happy! Hope to see you soon. Namaste Lyn.xx
I am from a running background and I first came to yoga in 2009 after tearing my calf muscle preparing for a race. Incapacitated, I practised simple lengthening and strengthening yoga poses and regained my mobility within a few weeks. By this time I was ‘hooked’ and my yoga journey began. I still regularly practice sun salutations on my non-running days to firm my core and help keep me injury free.
After exploring many styles of yoga my training path followed the teaching style of Hatha and Kundalini. This yoga is suitable for beginners through to more experienced students. I combine all of the classical yoga poses of Hatha and fuse them with Kundalini poses. Linking the pose with the breathing techniques releases the natural energy within us through our Chakra system. I aim to guide you through your practice and help you to feel a stronger, more focused and content you.
Dawn teaches Hot Yoga and Hatha Yoga at Bliss.
Emma’s first experience of yoga was at high school in Australia and she still remembers floating off to her English Literature class afterwards, feeling happy and content. Emma is passionate about teaching yoga classes that are accessible to everyone, and which work to rebalance all the many layers of our beings, not just the physical body. She particularly loves teaching to children and young adults as well as working gently and therapeutically in adult classes.

I fell in love with yoga as soon as I stepped on my mat 6 years ago, and I have never looked back unless I was doing a backbend. Years of practicing has led me to embark on my journey to become a qualified teacher. My aim as a teacher is to continue to deepen my own understanding of the practice and to share my knowledge to others.
In my classes I encourage my students to focus on their breath, still the mind and stay clam. Guiding students correct alignment and engaging muscles to reap all the benefits of each asana( believe me you will kick some Asana in my classes) and appreciate a well deserved savasana and leave your mat with a heap of zen!
My yoga journey started when I went to my first yoga class with my mum and dad back in 1995 in my native Finland. I don't remember much of those first classes but I knew it was something different and exciting. I have been practicing yoga ever since and have tried different styles and teachers over my 21 years of practice. My style of teaching is a combination from all the great teachers I have had over the years.
Throughout my own yoga practice journey it became apparent to me that I wanted to share the amazing feeling and benefits I receive from yoga with others. My philosophy as a yoga student and a teacher is to always listen to the messages from my body - to respect the body - and the breath and work to the level where I am today. Because that is exactly where I need to be. And to top it all off add a huge sprinkle of fun!
In 2009 I was ready to embark on my yoga teacher journey and I completed The British Wheel of Yoga foundation course followed by teacher training. The moment I opened my mouth in front of a class of expectant students, I knew that I found exactly where I needed to be and what I needed to be doing. I love every minute of sharing my
passion for yoga!
I hope to see you on the mat soon x
Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, especially during difficult times of anxiety and depression. Yoga helped me realise that there was nothing I couldn't conquer as long as stayed present and mindful and breathed deeply. As a result, I've become more fearless, both on and off the mat.
I completed my training in Bali, Indonesia and it was a truly transformational and life changing experience and I aim to be a perpetual student of the practice whilst sharing this gift I've been given.
I teach a strong and powerful Hatha flow with inspiration from Forrest and Yin styles too.
In my classes, I aim to inspire you to help deepen your practice and to truly be present in your body and celebrate and marvel at what it can do. In teaching you, I am also learning and constantly discovering - I hope to be a perpetual student for the rest of my life, which I hope will also enhance my teaching. A wonderful cycle!
Pilates not only changed my body shape but had a massive impact within my
whole life. I found Pilates after a dramatic weight loss. I started my
Pilates journey, practicing twice a week and was soon hooked by the
In our classes we will strive for "Progression not Perfection" we will
work through the Pilates movement sequence looking to deepen our knowledge
and movement practice to improve strength, mobility, flexibility and

understanding these reasons is the key. I love to bring a fun and flowing
element into my classes to challenge both body and mind.
